Canberra Mar Thoma Youth, from its inception in 2011, has the same four-fold programme as the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam which is “Worship, Study, Witness and Service’. The main objective is to ensure all the young people in the Church should accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and to help them grow in to the totality of Christ. The Vicar of our parish serves as the president of the region
Our Activities include

• Regular meetings and bible studies to equip the youth in the knowledge of The Holy Bible and the faith and practices of the Church.
• Visiting local nursing homes during Christmas to instil Christian love towards the community, coordinating projects in Christian outreach programs like Operation Christmas Child for Mar Thoma Care and Mission.
• Combined events with Youth Groups from sister churches in Australia sharing experiences, and to have true fellowship.
